Homeless Woman Burned in West Ocean City
“The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office has investigated a fire in which a 46 year old homeless woman was burned earlier this morning (Saturday, February 20, 2021). The woman who had returned to her make-shift shelter off Elm Street in West Ocean City, Maryland was filling her kerosene heater when a fire occurred. She received burns to her hands and feet while she was trying to extinguish the fire. The subject suffered burns to her feet and hands.
