Notice to the Public
The Worcester County Board of Elections will be performing the following 2022 General Election activities:
- Public Demonstration – Provide Logic and Accuracy Testing documents for public
inspection
Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
- Early Voting Results Canvass
Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
The early voting results will not be available until after 8:00 pm.
- Mail-in Ballot 1 Canvass
Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
- Provisional Ballot Canvass
Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
- Mail-in Ballot 2 Canvass
Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
Canvassing activities will take place at the Worcester County Board of Elections, 201 Belt Street Suite C, Snow Hill, MD 21863

Important: Political district boundaries are changing! Election officials are getting ready to make changes to County, State, and Congressional districts. District boundaries are adjusted every ten years based on how the population changes. New district plans are not yet final, but they will be soon. Primary Election - July 19, 2022, 7am until 8pm
• Early Voting for the Primary Election - Thursday, July 7, 2022 through Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 7 am until 8 pm.
General Election - November 8, 2022, 7 am until 8 pm
• Early Voting for the General Election - Thursday, October 27, 2022 through Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 7 am until 8 pm.

Mail-in Ballots
A Mail-in Ballot Application is available from the Worcester County Board of Elections
office or online at https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/OnlineVoterRegistration. Mail-in Ballot Applications must be submitted no later than 7 days before an election. If you mail your voted ballot, make sure that the envelope is postmarked on or before election day (June 28, 2022). Your voted ballot must be received by your local board of elections by 10 am on July 8, 2020. The Mail-in Ballots are usually available to voters 45 days prior to the election. Please allow ample time for mailing the application and ballot. Additional postage may be required to return your voted ballot by mail.

VOTER REGISTRATION
You can also complete a voter registration application at http://elections.maryland.gov/voter_registration/application.html or call our office for a registration form to be mailed to you. You can register to vote in Worcester County if you will be 18 years of age or older by June 28, 2022.
The registration deadline for the Gubernatorial Primary is June 28, 2022.
To Change your Name or Address
You can use the Voter Registration Application mentioned above to change your name and address, or you can call our office and we will send you a form to change your name or address. We must have your signature on the form before we can make any changes to your registration.
How do I verify my registration?
You are considered a registered voter when you receive your Voter Notification Card from your local board of elections. If you do not receive your card three weeks after you submit an application, you should contact our office.
You can verify your registration online at https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/votersearch. Registration is permanent as long as you continue to live in Maryland and keep your name and address current with your local board of elections. You do not have to re-register when you move within the State, but you must keep your address current.
