Worcester County Government (WCG) offices, including the Worcester County Recreation Center and the five branch libraries, will be closed Monday, September 2, 2024, for the Labor Day holiday.

The Central Landfill and Homeowner Convenience Centers will also be closed.

WCG offices will resume standard operating hours on Tuesday, September 3. WCG staff wish one and all a happy and safe holiday weekend.

Snow Hill, MD. – This week a bat was collected from a home in the 600 block of Market St in Pocomoke City and tested positive for rabies. Additionally, a rabid raccoon was found on Ninepin Branch Rd in Berlin.
