Due to ongoing inclement weather conditions, Worcester County Government Offices will be closed Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The Worcester County Commissioners’ meeting previously scheduled for January 7 has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, January 14, at 10 a.m.
In anticipation of continuing unsafe conditions, the Worcester County Recreation Center in Snow Hill, the Worcester County Central Landfill in Newark, and the Homeowner Convenience Centers (located in Berlin, Pocomoke, Snow Hill, and at the Central Landfill) will also be closed Jan. 7.
“Worcester County, your safety will always be our top priority,” Sheriff Matthew Crisafulli said. “The weather conditions over night and tomorrow morning are going to be extremely dangerous. Please stay in if you do not have to be out on the roads. If you must travel, exercise extreme caution
