Worcester County Public Works Water and Wastewater (WWW) Division staff will be repairing the north water tower in Ocean Pines December 13-19. During repairs the tower will be taken offline. As a result, the surrounding area may experience lower than normal water pressure during the work.
Once the repairs are completed and the tower is brought back online, residents may experience brown water. Worcester County Water Department staff will flush the lines following repairs, which should clear the lines and eliminate any brown water. If area residents notice discolored water during these times, please allow the water to run for a few minutes until it becomes clear.
