FY2026 Notice of Public hearing - Enterprise Funds Operating Budgets

The first budget review session for Enterprise Funds is scheduled for April 1st. This session provides the opportunity for your
detailed review of the various budget requests. The Public Hearing on the Requested Enterprise Funds Operating Budgets is
requested to be scheduled for Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Worcester County Government Center. Additional budget
work sessions are scheduled May 13th and May 20th. The FY2026 Enterprise Funds Operating Budgets must be adopted on June 17th,
2025.

If you wish to speak or attend in person, we encourage you to pre-register by calling the County Administration office at 410-632-1194. Speakers will be allowed to address the County Commissioners for up to two (2) minutes. Written comment may also be submitted in advance by email at wchearing@co.worcester.md.us or in writing received on or before 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on Monday, May 5, 2025 in the County Commissioners’ Office at Room 1103 Government Center, One West Market Street, Snow Hill, MD 21863. Written comments received will be posted on the county website.

Notice of Public Hearing for Establishment of a Residential Planned Community - Crepe Myrtle Court (RPC)

Pursuant to Sections 1-114 and 1-315 of the Worcester County Zoning Ordinance, an application has been filed with the Worcester County Commissioners by Keith Iott on behalf of Kathleen Clark to establish a Residential Planned Community (RPC) on property located on the southerly side of MD Route 707 (Old Bridge Road), west of Greenridge Lane. Located in the Tenth Tax District of Worcester County, Maryland, the property is designated on Tax Map 26 as Parcel 157.

Notice of Public Hearing Amendment to Worcester County Water and Sewerage Plan Ocean Downs Sanitary Area Mystic Harbour Sanitary Area - Riddle Farm Sanitary Area Berlin, Maryland

The Worcester County Commissioners will hold public hearings to consider applications filed by the Department of Environmental Programs.  The first amendment, for the Ocean Downs Casino, seeks to revise water system in the Master Water and Sewerage Plan (The Plan).  Those changes would include a revision to a water service map and a revised water system for the casino.  The Casino desires to replace their existing 100,000-gallon elevated steel water tank with a 150,000 gallon bolted steel ground-level storage tank.
