On June 3, 2025, the Worcester County Commissioners approved the Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) Operating Budget of $281,396,017.

“This budget increases funding for priorities like education and public safety and at the same time decreases the property tax rate for our residents,” Worcester County Commissioner President Ted Elder said. “Everyone is coming out of this with something.”

Snow Hill, Maryland – Snow Hill Library 70's Book Bas fundraiser! This fundraiser is to help us renovate our branch as we approach our 50th anniversary! We have received some amazing donations for the silent auction for Pro Coat Flooring, Firefly, VA Space, Candy Kitchen, Seacrets, OC History Museum, Calvin B. Taylor house, and many more. There will be games, crafts, and a book sale.
