The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office investigated a residential structure fire in Snow Hill on Saturday afternoon.
At 1:59 PM the Snow Hill Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a structure fire at 3602 Figgs Landing Road in Snow Hill.
Upon arrival, crews observed significant smoke and fire conditions throughout the single-story home. Firefighters worked to quickly bring the fire under control. Crews then remained on scene for approximately 3 hours performing overhaul operations.
Snow Hill was assisted by Girdletree, Stockton, Pocomoke, Newark and Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Departments.
Deputies from the Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene and conducted a thorough fire scene examination. The home is a complete loss. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
