Technical Services

The Technical Services Division is designed to promote, maintain and incorporate the use of geographic information system (GIS) technology as a vital tool in the planning, implementation, enforcement and monitoring of conservation and development practices through the County. GIS data is available to County, State and Federal departments and agencies at no cost and to private businesses or persons at a nominal fee, along with the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding. Technical Services in conjunction with the Information Technology and Emergency Services Departments plan to have a web based GIS system available to other County departments, local municipalities and eventually the public.
