The Maryland Department of Health has received the following guidance regarding mask usage from the Maryland Department of Budget and Management: Except as noted below, effective May 15, 2021, Maryland state employees will no longer be required to wear masks while working. Additionally, visitors to state owned and leased buildings will also not be required to wear masks. The wearing of masks will be voluntary but unvaccinated State employees and visitors are encouraged to continue to wear masks in state owned and leased buildings.
