Water Wastewater Assessments and Charges
Quarterly user rates are hereby set as follows:
1.Domestic minimum water and sewer $133.00
2.Additional domestic water and sewer charge based on usage as follows:
(a)$.80 per 1,000 gallons up to 10,000 gallons, and
(b)$3.50 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000 gallons up to 25,000 gallons, and
(c)$6.00 per 1,000 gallons over 25,000 gallons up to 35,000 gallons,
(d)$9.00 per 1,000 gallons over 35,000 gallons up to 45,000 gallons, and
(e)$15.00 per 1,000 gallons over 45,000 gallons.
3.Commercial minimum water & sewer $245.00
4.Additional commercial water and sewer charge of:
(a)$0.80 per 1,000 gallons up to 10,000 gallons and
(b)$5.00 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000 gallons based on usage.
Standard assessments for debt service are hereby established at $188.00 per EDU per year payable quarterly.
South Ocean Pines Sub-Area user rates for debt service are established at $144.00 per EDU per year payable quarterly.
User rates are established at $260.00 per park trailer per year payable quarterly which includes water and sewer service.
User rates are established at $415.00 per equivalent dwelling unit (hereinafter referred to as EDU) per year payable quarterly for sewer only service.
Snug Harbor assessment for debt service is hereby established at $650.00 per EDU per year payable quarterly.
User rates are hereby established at $222.00 annually per EDU payable quarterly which includes water service only.
Swimming pool charge - $80.00 annually.
Irrigation system charge - $100.00 annually.
Quarterly user rates are hereby set as follows:

2.Additional water and sewer charges based on usage as follows:
(a)$4.91 per 1,000 gallons up to 10,000 gallons, and
(b)$6.00 per 1,000 gallons over 25,000 gallons up to 35,000 gallons, and
(c)$9.00 per 1,000 gallons over 35,000 gallons up to 45,000 gallons, and
(d)$15.00 per 1,000 gallons over 45,000 gallons.
3.Domestic water only (not metered) $65.00
4.Domestic sewer only $120.00
Sewer accessibility charges are hereby established for properties not paying user charges as follows $100.00 per year per unit.
The standard annual assessment for Sussex County debt service is hereby established at $0.33 per linear front foot.

2.Additional domestic water and sewer charges based on usage as follows:
(a)$1.60 per 1,000 gallons over 0 gallons up to 10,000 gallons, and

(c)$6.00 per 1,000 gallons over 25,000 gallons up to 35,000 gallons, and
(d)$9.00 per 1,000 gallons over 35,000 gallons up to 45,000 gallons, and
(e)$15.00 per 1,000 gallons over 45,000 gallons.
Quarterly Commercial user rates are hereby established as follows:
1.Commercial minimum water & sewer $250.00
2.Additional water and sewer charges based on usage as follows:
(a)$3.20 per 1,000 gallons over 0 gallons up to 10,000 gallons, and
(b)$5.00 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000 gallons
Unimproved Lots - Quarterly Accessibility charge $150.00 (Not yet connected).
Lewis Road assessment for debt service is hereby established at $60.00 per EDU per year payable quarterly.
Quarterly user rates are hereby established as follows:
1.Improved Lots - Basic quarterly charge $210.00 per assessed equivalent dwelling unit.
2.Unimproved Lots - Quarterly accessibility charge $85.00 per assessed equivalent dwelling unit.

2.Additional domestic water and sewer charges based on usage as follows:
(a)$1.60 per 1,000 gallons over 0 gallons up to 10,000 gallons, and

(c)$6.00 per 1,000 gallons over 25,000 gallons up to 35,000 gallons, and
(d)$9.00 per 1,000 gallons over 35,000 gallons up to 45,000 gallons, and
(e)$15.00 per 1,000 gallons over 45,000 gallons.
3.Domestic water only service (metered) shall be billed at 25% of the above rates as established in 2a and 2b.
4.Domestic sewer only service $145.50
5.Bulk Domestic water (metered) $5.00 per thousand gallons
Quarterly Commercial user rates are hereby established as follows:
1.Commercial minimum water & sewer $250.00
2.Additional water and sewer charges based on usage as follows:
(a)$3.20 per 1,000 gallons over 0 gallons up to 10,000 gallons, and
(b)$5.00 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000 gallons
3.Commercial water only service shall be billed at 25% of the above rates as established in 3a and 3b.
Unimproved Lots - Quarterly Accessibility charge $100.00 (Not yet connected).
Oyster Harbor - Standard assessments for debt service are hereby established at $216.00 per EDU per year payable quarterly.
South Point Village - The South Point Village Condominium Association shall pay $100.00 per EDU quarterly, which includes a debt service charge of $70.00 per EDU quarterly.
Sunset Village - The Sunset Village Home Owner’s Association shall pay $74.00 per EDU, which includes a debt service charge of $44.00 per EDU ($4,876.00 total) quarterly.
Quarterly user rates are hereby established as follows:
1.Domestic minimum water $69.00
2.Domestic minimum sewer $69.00
3.Domestic water $3.50 per 1,000 gal. over 3,000 gallons based on usage
4.Domestic sewer $3.50 per 1,000 gallons over 3,000 gal.based on usage
5.Commercial minimum water $81.00
6.Commercial minimum sewer $81.00
7.Commercial water $7.00 per 1,000 gallons over 3,000 gal.based on usage
8.Commercial sewer $7.00 per 1,000 gallons over 3,000 gal.based on usage
Assessments are hereby established at $128.00 per year per EDU.

Unimproved Lots - Quarterly Accessibility charge $50.00 (Not yet connected).
River Run shall pay to Ocean Pines Service Area for water as provided by contract at the following rates:
1.Minimum quarterly water $45.00
2.Additional water charges based on usage as follows:
(a)$0.25 per 1,000 up to 10,000 gallons, and
(b)$1.09 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000 gallons up to 25,000 gallons, and
(c)$1.88 per 1,000 gallons over 25,000 gallons up to 35,000 gallons, and
(d)$2.81 per 1,000 gallons over 35,000 gallons up to 45,000 gallons, and
(e)$4.69 per 1,000 gallons over 45,000 gallons.
User rates are hereby set as follows: sewer at $600.00 per year, billed quarterly.
Annual user rates for sewer are hereby adopted at $39.00 per Residential fixture and $53.00 per commercial fixture. User rates shall be payable quarterly. Swimming pools are to be charged an annual flat rate of $102.00. Car washes shall be charged an annual rate of $2.38 per 1,000 gallons based upon 70% of water consumption.
Standard assessments are hereby established at $32.00 per year per EDU payable quarterly.
An adjusted standard assessment of 25% of standard is hereby established for platted lots in the service area that do not have sewer lines accessible to the property.
ALL DISTRICTS
Accounts that are delinquent over 30 days from the date of billing shall be assessed a $5.00 penalty plus 3% interest per quarter shall be assessed.
The quarterly billing scheudule for all service areas is January, April, July and October.
