Snow Emergency Plan Lifted in Worcester County

December 9, 2017, the Worcester County Snow Emergency Plan previously instituted by the Maryland State Police (MSP) was lifted Saturday, Dec. 9, at 8 a.m.

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office and Worcester County Emergency Services (WCES) urge residents to use caution when traveling, particularly on secondary roads. The heavy snow has created hazards, such as falling tree limbs and branches.
