February 22, 2024 - Residential Structure Fire in Stockton

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office investigated a residential structure fire in Stockton, Maryland this morning.

At 10:17 AM the Stockton Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a residence on Ticktown Road for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, crews observed fire conditions at the rear of a two-story single-family dwelling. Firefighters worked to bring the fire under control quickly. Crews then remained on location for approximately two hours conducting overhaul operations, ensuring the fire had been completely extinguished.

Deputies from the Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene and conducted a thorough fire scene examination. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
